Cool Keyboard Videos From NAMM 2012

Killer pianists playing impromptu demos are awesome at the NAMM show!

The big news this week in the music industry is NAMM 2012 (National Association of Music Merchants).  This awesome trade show was held in Southern California last weekend and I got to be there for three days.  There was a lot of new technology in the keyboards department, but I usually enjoy impromptu demos with great piano players.  So I collected some awesome videos that features some amazing piano players on some beautiful pianos.  Sit back and enjoy the show!

We’ll start off with a special appearance with Cori Jacobs playing a Fazioli piano.  He’s an awesome pianist that shows some of his great chops at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8EVuWu1gG4.

Next up is Eric Levy on a Mason & Hamlin piano.  Levy is plays through one of my favorite jazz songs, Birdland, in a whole new way.  Check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnaG3OaLKww&feature=related.

Glen Stewart astounds his audience with a killer rendition of the jazz classic, Giant Steps, in this next video.  Check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W12bWMKsg_M&feature=related.

The last video I will give you features Kenneth Crouch on a Mason & Hamlin piano.  Crouch plays a great version of the Thelonious Monk tune, ‘Round Midnight.  See it here at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdixE6nMGgo&feature=related.

These were just a few of the amazing piano performances at NAMM 2012.  I hope you enjoyed watching and listening to the videos, because I had a great time putting them together for you.

Thanks!
